    Description

    Reporting to the General Manager, the Foreperson will manage construction staff, maintain thorough quality control, and foster collaboration within their work environment. They will be responsible for safety, cleanliness, management of trades and materials, quality control, and facilitating the completion of projects through unexpected challenges. The ideal candidate has a strong work-ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the physical capacity for strenuous labour, and an optimistic, responsible personality.     Job Requirements
    • 5+ years in a construction site leadership role
    • 5+ years of carpentry or similar experience
    • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
    • A clear understanding of Part 3 and Part 9 of the BC Building Code
    • Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and organize crew while demonstrating team values
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
    Qualifications
    • General construction acumen
    • Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and reliable transportation
    • Red Seal Carpenter is an asset
    Salary
    $32-36/hr
